Phoenix, United States - August 27, 2025 08/27/2025 04:22 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Two Phoenix police officers have been hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision involving a Phoenix Police Department Tahoe. The collision occurred at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue. According to information gathered at the scene, a Ford F150 was traveling west on Dunlap Avenue and ran the red light at 19th Avenue. A Dodge Ram, traveling north on 19th Avenue on a green light, struck the F150 on the driver's side. The Phoenix PD SUV, occupied by two officers, was traveling through the green on 19th Avenue and was struck following the initial collision. Both officers were transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown. A third patient, an adult male, was transported in unknown condition. A closure was established for the intersection while officers investigated the collision. The closure was lifted approximately one hour later, leaving only northbound 19th Avenue closed.
