This is the disturbing moment a lifelike mannequin rotated a grinder outside a shop in the Philippines.

Saoirse Leonaras was on a food trip in Chinatown Binondo when she noticed the statue wearing a traditional Chinese dress in Manila, the Philippines.

Footage shows the human-like figure, a creepy smile plastered on its face, turning the handle of a stone mill grinder on May 25.

Saoirse said: 'The store owner placed the moving mannequin there to attract more customers.'

Chinatown, established in 1594 in Binondo, is recognized as the world's oldest Chinatown. It has long been a vibrant center of Chinese-Filipino culture, commerce, and cuisine.

It is a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors with its historic temples, bustling markets, traditional eateries, and colorful festivals that show a unique blend of Filipino and Chinese heritage.
