This is the funny moment a passerby spotted a cat on a car roof and kindly returned it home.

The pet owner drove out of her garage while her ginger feline Joon was still lounging on top of her white sedan in Bangkok, Thailand.

CCTV footage shows the vehicle pulling out of the parking space with the furry creature resting, unfazed by the motion of the four-wheeler on June 13.

An elderly woman was sweeping the front yard was unaware that Joon was still atop the vehicle.

Moments later, a motorcycle taxi rider can be seen navigating the street while carrying the cat, which clung to his arm.

He then stepped off his scooter and carefully placed the animal onto a concrete seat while talking with the pensioner, explaining what had happened to Joon.

The pet owner said: 'People shouted to me that there was a cat on the roof of my car. Then I saw the rider, whom I knew, passing by and he kindly offered to bring Joon back home since he was heading our way.'
