China: Rare footage of wild snow leopard playing with cubs captured in China's Qinghai
Storyline: A wild snow leopard was captured engaging in loving interactions with her two cubs by wildlife photographers among the rocks in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province. In the footage, the female snow leopard lies calmly on the ground as one cub nestles against her to nurse, while the other clings playfully to her side, nuzzling her affectionately. Snow leopards, known as the "king of the snow mountains," are under China's national first-class protection and are listed as a vulnerable species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
