Radom Air Show Tragedy: F-16 Pilot's Final Flight Captured on Camera.
I recorded this video on the evening of Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Radom airport in Poland. I was watching the practice flights for the upcoming Radom Air Show. The atmosphere was calm as the F-16 from the renowned Tiger Demo Team Poland performed its maneuvers. In the video, you can see the jet flying at a low altitude. It appears to be attempting a roll or pulling out of a dive, but something goes horribly wrong. The aircraft fails to regain altitude and impacts the runway at high speed. The moment of impact is followed by a massive explosion and a fireball, which quickly turns into thick, black smoke, as seen at the end of the footage. Later, it was confirmed that this was a tragic accident and the pilot, Major Maciej "Slab" Krakowian, a highly experienced and decorated aviator, was killed in the crash. The entire Air Show was subsequently canceled. This was a shocking and tragic event to witness.
