VARIOUS OF DEAD BODIES IN MORGUE / PALESTINIANS AROUNDGAZA, PALESTINE - AUG. 28: Seven people, including two children, were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a civilian gathering in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza on Thursday, Aug. 28. A woman and her child were also killed in another strike on the same camp. At least 27 people were killed in fresh Israeli strikes across the war-torn Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to medics. Israel has killed at least 63,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave, which is facing famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
