The filmmaker wanted to show viewers the detailed procedure of how to produce a traditional figure’s rubbing. During this process, he used various kinds of tools, including a piece of yellow paper, a spray bottle, red pigment, and so on. Finally, a delicate and solemn figure rubbing appeared from the artisan’s hands.
