This is the heartwarming moment a pet dog enjoyed her bath time in a plastic tub.

Footage shows Tenten, the excitable Shih Tzu, standing on her hind legs and leaning on the green, water-filled container in Bulacan, the Philippines.

The two-year-old white pooch can be seen jumping in delight as her owner washes her food bowl on August 21.

The impatient canine attempted to grab the water scoop with her mouth before leaping into the pail.

Tenten then paddled her front paws while comfortably lounging in the tub. Meanwhile, her keeper scrubs a rag using a brush on the floor.

Pet owner Mary Joy Tolentino said: 'Tenten is not trained. She just really loves taking a bath and taking a dip in the water.'
