This is the shocking moment a tricycle toppled over while navigating a muddy uphill road.

Joshua Dejarme and his friends were heading to a river camp when the vehicle they were riding tipped over in Manila, the Philippines.

Footage shows the youngster and Vander Robea, one of his mates, seated behind the driver on August 24.

Moments later, the three-wheeler lost its balance as it ascended the mountain terrain.

They immediately stood up and helped reposition the vehicle, with one of their friends still inside the sidecar.

After the incident, they decided to walk the rest of the off-road path until they reached their destination.

Vander said: 'We encountered bumps, and when we reached a boulder in the middle of the way, the vehicle fell over. It was funny because we saw that the driver jumped immediately from the tricycle.'

The group did not sustain any injuries from what happened.
