Gaza - August 28, 2025 The IDF announced that two new humanitarian aid distribution centers will soon be completed in southern Gaza, as part of efforts to facilitate the delivery of food and relief supplies in coordination with U.S. government and foundation initiatives. Once operational, a total of five distribution sites will function across the Strip, replacing the Tel al-Sultan site to enhance both efficiency and safety. Since late May, over 2.3 million weekly food packages have already been distributed through four existing centers. The IDF, via COGAT and under government directives, emphasized its continued commitment to ensuring the orderly distribution of aid to civilians in Gaza while preventing supplies from being diverted.
