Storyline: A landslide-blocked section along the national highway No. 206 at Jiangjiawan Village of Wudu District in Longnan City, northwest China's Gansu Province, was cleared on Thursday night. The minor landslide, triggered by continuous heavy rainfall, occurred on Thursday morning, disrupting traffic across the provincial highway. After the incident, the local emergency response department quickly dispatched machinery and personnel to the site for clearance operations. The road was reopened to traffic as of 20:00 on Thursday. China has recently experienced scattered yet heavy rainfall events, with heavy to torrential rains affecting both the southwestern and northeastern parts of the country, according to the National Meteorological Center.
