US, Los Angeles: Diamond Bar Semi-Truck Catches Fire on Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - August 29, 2025 08/29/2025 05:31 am GMT-0700 DIAMOND BAR, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a semi-truck catching fire on the northbound 57 Freeway, just south of the Temple Avenue off-ramp in Diamond Bar. Upon arrival, units found the semi engulfed in flames, but the driver had safely exited the vehicle. The cause of the fire remains unclear, and it is not yet known whether the fire was caused by overheating. The CHP and fire department had blocked the right two lanes of the freeway for safety and to facilitate the firefighting efforts.
