US, Phoenix: Phoenix L-202 Extrication Crash
Phoenix, United States - August 29, 2025 08/29/2025 03:54 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision on the eastbound L-202 Red Mountain adjacent to the 40th Street exit ramp early Friday morning. As troopers were responding, an American Medical Response ambulance traveling on the I-10 came across the scene. Medical personnel advised that at least one person was trapped in one of the vehicles. Troopers arrived and began closing all eastbound lanes of traffic as firefighters arrived. Firefighters began extricating the trapped occupant and tending to additional victims. At least one person was transported from the scene to a local area hospital in unknown condition. Troopers eventually dragged the involved vehicles to the right shoulder and reopened the freeway after approximately 30 minutes.
