US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Super Scoopers Arrive in Los Angeles From Canada With Sound On Tape
Los Angeles, United States - August 29, 2025 08/29/2025 03:26 pm GMT-0700 VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Super Scoopers have arrived in Los Angeles to bolster firefighting efforts across the Southland. The iconic yellow Canadair CL-415 aircraft arrived at Van Nuys Airport’s Tanker Base today around 3:26 p.m. after passing through the Antelope and Santa Clarita valleys. Their arrival follows several weeks of dry and extreme heat conditions across the region. Mary Kay Neumann, who watched the Palisades and Eaton fires destroy two communities on television, spoke to Key News Network on camera about her excitement at seeing the two planes arriving.
