The drone attack ignited fires at energy infrastructure facilities, which firefighters and volunteers quickly brought under control.
The attack also damaged residential houses and a warehouse, authorities said.
Ukraine has recently accused Russia of targeting civilians in a series of overnight strikes, including drone attacks.
Zelenskyy called for immediate implementation of international air defense pledges, and stressed that Ukraine urgently needs interceptor drones and missile defenses.
The Russia-Ukraine war has been ongoing since February 24, 2022.
