Lebanon: IDF Destroys Hezbollah Military Structure in Southern Lebanon
Ayta ash Shab, Lebanon - August 31, 2025 IDF forces from the 300th Brigade destroyed a building in the town of Aita al-Shaab, Southern Lebanon, that had been used by Hezbollah for military activity. The use of the site by Hezbollah operatives constituted a clear violation of understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The same building also served as the residence of Mohammad Hussein Qassem, a Hezbollah operative who was eliminated by the IDF last week after being identified attempting to restore Hezbollah infrastructure in the area. The IDF emphasized it will continue operations to remove any threat against the State of Israel.
