This is the dramatic moment a riderless food cart went haywire as it raced across a field.

Footage captured by Hor Vanak shows the runaway tricycle jolting around the park in Kampot, Cambodia.

The items on the cart shook violently, while the motorbike seat swayed from side to side as it manoeuvred over the bumpy pathway on August 28.

It can be seen ramming into a box laid on the ground, causing it to tumble over.

Moments later, the vendor and another man chased after the vehicle, with one of them in a red shirt grabbing the back of the cart and switching off its engine.

Meanwhile, Hor and other amused locals sitting nearby can be heard laughing at the chaotic scene.

No one was injured in the incident.
