In her speech, Sheinbaum said, “Friends, we are doing well and we will do better.” She added that Mexico’s peacebuilding policy is decided independently and guided by honesty, conviction, and perseverance. Sheinbaum concluded by highlighting Mexico’s independence and cultural heritage, saying the country is free, sovereign, and served by a hardworking people.
