US, Los Angeles: Florence Sheared Hydrant Spews Water Into The Air
Los Angeles, United States - September 01, 2025 09/01/2025 12:35 am GMT-0700 FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a sheared fire hydrant that was spewing water into the air. Crews located the hydrant that had been knocked out of place. They encountered some difficulty in finding the shut-off valve to stop the water flow. Eventually, the firefighters managed to shut the valve and stop the flow of water. The cause of the hydrant becoming dislodged remains unclear. The incident occurred in the intersection of 76th Street and Broadway.
