Monkey rummages through tourist's pockets for snacks
This is the amusing moment a monkey rummaged through a tourist's pockets in search of snacks.
Footage shows the ravenous macaque slipping its hand into the back pocket of a woman's jeans at Qianling Mountain Park in Guizhou, China.
The terrified holidaymaker can be seen walking away screaming, while the unfazed primate continues to check her coin pocket on August 29.
The monkey eventually gave up upon realising the tourist had no food.
Monkeys are common in the area, and there have been reports of them taking items and even entering homes in search of food.
Park management advises tourists not to approach the monkeys, as they may become aggressive if they feel threatened.
Risks from monkey bites include serious wound infections, herpes B virus, and rabies.
