GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - SEPT. 2: Israeli authorities released nine Palestinian prisoners from the Sde Teiman detention facility on Tuesday, Sep. 2, according to the Gaza-based Prisoners' Media Office.

The Office announced the release in a statement published on its official Telegram channel, confirming that the freed individuals had been transferred back to the Gaza Strip.

"The nine liberated prisoners arrived in the Gaza Strip after being held in Sde Teiman prison," the statement read.

It was also reported that the released detainees were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip, for medical examinations and necessary treatment.

No further details were immediately provided regarding the identities of the released individuals or the reasons behind their detention and subsequent release.
