Douglas County Deputy Stops Driver for Red-Light Violation
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A driver was cited after making an illegal left turn on a red light in front of a traffic deputy, officials said.
The incident occurred when Traffic Deputy Greeder witnessed the violation firsthand. The sheriff’s office reminded motorists that running red lights endangers everyone on the road and carries more consequences than just a ticket.
“Please drive safe and be aware of your surroundings,” the department said in a statement.
