Tourist's hair frozen into a spike on first trip to Canada
This is the hilarious moment a tourist's hair froze into a spike during her first trip to Canada.
Amelia Molo had just taken a bath and stepped outside with her husband into minus 18 degrees Celsius weather when her hair instantly hardened into ice in Victoriaville, Quebec.
Footage captured by Sylvester Molo shows the woman flipping her solidified hair on January 25.
She can be seen laughing as the stiff, ice-covered strands stuck out straight to her right.
Amelia said: 'My hair was still wet, and when we stepped outside our house, it took just four minutes for it to turn into frozen strands of ice. It was so funny, we couldn't stop laughing.'
Winter in Canada typically lasts from December to March. Residents in some parts of the country experience long stretches of cold and snow, with temperatures ranging from minus 15 degrees Celsius to minus 5 degrees Celsius, and sometimes dropping even lower during cold snaps.
