An American teacher was arrested for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old schoolgirl numerous times over a year in Thailand.

Majit, 59, who goes by the nickname 'Sunny Love', reportedly groped the youngster repeatedly at a language school in Suphan Buri province.

Police said that CCTV footage taken in February shows him forcing the terrified girl's arms apart as he appeared to squeeze her breast in front of her classmates. The pupil screamed before Majit then threw an object at her and stormed out of the classroom.

He reportedly silenced the girl and her friends with death threats until the tortured child confessed about the alleged abuse to her mother in August.

The shocked parent lodged a complaint with police, who swept into the school to arrest the suspected sex offender.

Authorities said the girl had been suffering abuse from Majit since July 2024.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Peerapat Klayklueng of the Suphan Buri Immigration Office said: ‘We have questioned the suspect, but he maintained his innocence, claiming he did not sexually assault the victim.

‘However, we have crucial evidence in this case - security camera footage from inside the classroom.

‘We will check his criminal history in Thailand and his home country to determine whether he committed similar crimes before proceeding with further legal action.

‘His visa will also be revoked, as his behaviour is considered a danger to society.'

The police chief added Majit was charged with committing an indecent act against a child under 13 years of age by using force, and coercion.
