United States - September 02, 2025 Island of Hawaii – Late Tuesday, Kilauea erupted again and the activity continued into Wednesday, marking the volcano's 32nd eruption since December. Dramatic footage captured by the US Geological Survey showed glowing rivers of lava lighting the night sky over the Island of Hawaii, the largest in the archipelago. Located about 200 miles south of Honolulu, Kilauea remains one of the world's most active volcanoes.
