US, Los Angeles: Harvard Heights Driver Rear Ends Ambulance Sending It Into Another Ambulance

Los Angeles, United States - September 03, 2025 09/02/2025 11:15 pm GMT-0700 HARVARD HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Two Los Angeles Fire Department ambulances were on a call late Tuesday evening in the 2000 block of West Washington Boulevard when a dark-colored SUV crashed into the back of one of the ambulances. The impact was severe enough to push the first ambulance into another parked ambulance, resulting in one vehicle partially on top of the other. Fortunately, no firefighters were injured in the incident. Additional resources and the Los Angeles Police Department were requested to the scene to assist with the situation. A male, believed to be the driver of the SUV, was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. LAPD Traffic units and an LAFD Battalion Chief were on site to investigate the crash. Washington Boulevard was closed in both directions while officials conducted their investigation. It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol played a role in this incident.
