US, Los Angeles: Rancho Cucamonga Car Rear Ends Semi Trailer On 15 Freeway Fatal
Los Angeles, United States - September 03, 2025 09/02/2025 10:13 pm GMT-0700 RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol from the Rancho Cucamonga Station and the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle traffic collision on the southbound 15 Freeway, just north of Foothill Boulevard. The incident involved a semi-truck and left one person trapped. Firefighters and paramedics pronounced one person deceased at the scene. It is currently unclear if any other victims were transported for their injuries. A total of three vehicles were involved in the crash, including one vehicle that was jammed underneath the semi-truck. An investigation is ongoing regarding whether speed or alcohol played a role in the fatal collision. The California Highway Patrol has closed the four, three, and two lanes of the southbound 15 Freeway as they continue their investigation.
