Terrified shopkeepers screamed as a magnitude 4.9 earthquake hit Myanmar today.

CCTV footage shows panicked staff fleeing outside as the tremor hit a clothes shop in Mandalay.

Thailand's Earthquake Observation Division said the magnitude 4.9 quake struck at 11:22 am local time. It hit some 320 kilometres (198 miles) northwest of Mae Hong Son province at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.2 miles).

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
