Los Angeles, United States - September 04, 2025 09/04/2025 04:42 pm GMT-0700 LANCASTER, Calif. – Emergency crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Lancaster Police Department officers responded to the 1900 block of West Avenue L around 4:42 p.m. Tuesday following reports of a single-vehicle traffic collision. Upon arrival, first responders upgraded the call to a physical rescue after discovering a man trapped beneath the vehicle. Despite rescue efforts to free him, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to witnesses, the man had been performing repairs on the vehicle when the incident occurred. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, and the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
