4. PRO-ISRAEL GROUP WITH FLAGS BERLIN, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 6: Pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in Berlin on Saturday, September 6, to protest Israel’s attacks on Gaza and to show support for Palestinians.
Large crowds assembled at Breitscheid Square in the city center, where the demonstration began with the Palestinian national anthem. Protesters carried photos of children suffering from hunger in Gaza along with banners reading “Palestine will be free,” “No to far-right Greater Israel,” and “Israel killed six journalists in one day.”
Chanting slogans such as “Terrorist Israel,” “Children in Gaza want to live, Netanyahu opposes,” “Child killer Israel,” and “Freedom for Palestine,” demonstrators also protested against the German government for supporting Israel.
Meanwhile, a pro-Israel group attempted to provoke the rally by waving Israeli flags near the demonstration site.
The protest ended peacefully under tight security measures.
