US, Los Angeles: Lake Balboa Suspected Drunk Woman Found Passed Out Behind The Wheel
Los Angeles, United States - September 06, 2025 09/06/2025 02:00 am GMT-0700 LAKE BALBOA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's West Valley Division officers responded to a crash involving city property at the intersection of Roscoe and Balboa boulevards. Upon arrival, officers discovered a silver Toyota Camry that had driven onto the sidewalk. Inside the vehicle, they found a woman slumped over the steering wheel while the car remained in drive. Officers noted two BuzzBallz ready-to-drink cocktails and an empty bottle of Patron Tequila in the passenger seat. Despite banging on the window, activating their sirens, using the PA system to yell, and shaking the car, the woman did not awaken. The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene and used a slim jim to unlock the doors. Firefighters shifted the car into park and turned off the ignition. Although they attempted to rouse her, she remained unresponsive until they eventually pulled her out of the vehicle and placed her on a stretcher. The woman then regained consciousness and was subsequently transported to an area hospital by LAFD paramedics. LAPD Valley Traffic is handling the investigation, and the woman may be facing DUI charges.
