Phoenix, United States - September 06, 2025 09/05/2025 11:10 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision near 35th Avenue and Harmont Drive, just north of Northern Avenue. According to information gathered at the scene, the vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene before the arrival of first responders. Units arrived to find the unresponsive pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian was transported with serious injuries to a local trauma center via the Phoenix FD. The collision resulted in a hard closure for 35th Avenue, spanning Harmont Drive to Northern Avenue, while officers investigated the incident.
