The military reported that Russian forces launched nine cruise missiles, four ballistic missiles and more than 800 drones against Ukrainian cities overnight.

In Kyiv, several residential buildings along with a government building in the city center were damaged.

The latest strikes come amid continued aerial warfare between Kyiv and Moscow, with both sides intensifying cross-border drone attacks in recent weeks.

The Russia-Ukraine war has been ongoing since February 24, 2022.
