British pensioner, 81, attacked outside supermarket in Thailand
A hapless British pensioner was attacked outside a supermarket just days after he had his treasured tricycle stolen.
Wayne Lewis Frank Lincoln, 81, was allegedly confronted a Korean holidaymaker who was arguing with a taxi driver in Udon Thani, northeast Thailand, on September 6.

The Brit reportedly tried to intervene but Lee Ji Hyeon, 39, turned his anger on him - repeatedly punched him in the face near the store entrance.
Locals helped the dazed Brit who was covered in blood as he stumbled around the car park.
Wayne, who was also the victim of a bike theft last week, said: 'When it rains it pours. I've been through the wars recently.
'A few years I wouldn't have had a problem handling myself against someone like that. I was a professional kickboxer in my day.'
Security guards seized Lee's pocket knife before calling the police. Bizarrely, the Korean man was said to have carried on shopping after the alleged attack.
Police and paramedics arrived at around 4 pm local time and treated cuts above Wayne's right eyebrow. He was given first aid while officers detained Lee as he was pushing a shopping cart out of the supermarket.
Footage shows the heavily tattooed Korean being cuffed and taken to a police truck, where he backrolled into the cargo bed. He was dragged to the local station for questioning.
Police Captain Natthawat Ladawan, Deputy Inspector of the station, said: 'The suspect had trouble talking to the police when he arrived, so a Thai woman who spoke Korean was called in to interpret.
'He explained that he was a taxi passenger who argued with the driver, then the elderly foreigner came up to him.
'He claimed the man stared at him and tried to touch him, so he punched him in self-defence. He further claimed he had no intention of harming the British man.'
Supermarket security guard Off said he stopped Wayne at the entrance as he arrived carrying his pet dog.
He said: 'I told him the dog had to stay outside. At that moment, the Korean man was getting out of the taxi and they started talking.
'I didn't notice what happened because I was directing traff in front of the mall. They fought soon after that.'
Kittichai Pongsri, 52, an assistant district official, said Lee had been in Thailand for over a year working on a website and had spent the past two months living in Udon Thani province.
Police said Lee charged with assault and carrying a knife in a public place without a reasonable excuse.
Just four days earlier, Wayne, a former restaurant owner in Liverpool, reported his tricycle stolen from outside his home in Udon Thani.
CCTV captured two men pushing it away on August 30. Police said they are reviewing nearby footage to identify the suspects as the pensioner lamented the loss of his beloved vehicle.
