This is the heartwarming moment a diver boyfriend surprised his partner with an underwater proposal.

Daniil and Nastya, both 21, were diving at the 20ft Cape Tarkhankut in the Black Sea when the man held out a ring to propose in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

Footage shows Nastya holding a bottle of champagne she discovered wedged between the rocks before turning to see her partner on August 31.

Daniil can be seen extending an open red heart-shaped ring box in front of her.

She quickly stretched out her hand in delight, and Daniil slipped the ring onto her finger as bubbles streamed around them.

Moments later, the couple briefly embraced and swam off hand in hand.

Nastya said: 'We had been together for three years, and it was our first-ever dive. We haven't set a wedding date yet as we're still planning, but right now, I am just overjoyed.'

The couple said that traveled to Crimea to work during the summer season and dream of settling near the sea in the future.
