Pet dog and tortoise wrestle together in back garden
This is the amusing moment a pet dog and a tortoise wrestled together in a back garden.
Rapaslada Sinhaseni spotted Sunny, the Thai Bangkaew pooch, rolling in the dirt and rubbing his head against Milkshake, the family's Sulcata tortoise.
Footage shows the three-year-old playful canine lying on the ground with his belly exposed and mouth open as the reptile ambles over him in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 26.
The mischievous tortoise can be seen placing its weight on the brown-and-white dog, causing Sunny to struggle to stand on his feet.
After pulling himself up, Sunny retreated toward a wall, but Milkshake followed closely, nearly cornering him before he quickly jumped up and ran away.
Rapaslada said: 'Our playful dog initiated a gentle wrestle, excitedly nudging and circling our tortoise with happy barks.
'The tortoise, in turn, patiently held its ground, turning the mismatched skirmish into a charming display of their unique friendship.'
Sulcata tortoises are known for their quirky and interactive behaviours. They love to roam and explore their surroundings, often nudging or pushing objects, and even animals, that they do not perceive as a threat.
