Lee County, Florida Deputies Remove Boar After Breaking Into Home
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County deputies responded to an unusual burglary call after a wild boar broke into a home by crashing through a sliding glass door, officials said.
The incident happened Sept. 2 on 3rd Street East, where deputies found the animal inside the residence. Body-worn camera footage captured the encounter as deputies worked to remove the unexpected intruder.
The boar was safely guided out and released back into the woods. No injuries were reported.
The sheriff’s office shared the incident with humor, calling it a “boar-glarly in progress” and reminding residents that deputies are ready for even the most unusual calls.
