Solitary wasp landed on my hand on her way to put a paralysed caterpillar her nest.
A Solitary wasp with a paralysed caterpillar she is taking to her nest, must have needed a rest and landed on me. These wasps are not aggressive to people. This species paralyses caterpillars and places them in the single cell mud nest on top of the egg. The wasps larvae will hatch and feed on the caterpillar until it pupates and eventually emerges as an adult wasp.
