- ZAPORIZHIA, UKRAINE — RELEASED ON SEPT. 9, 2025 — RESTRICTION: USERS MUST CREDIT "ZAPORIZHZHIA REGIONAL MILITARY ADMINISTRATION" HANDOUT, MUST NOT OBSCURE LOGO — EDITORIAL USE ONLY — CCTV footage released by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration on Tuesday, Sept. 9, captures the moment of an alleged Russian airstrike on a private household in the region.

The strike caused a fire, but there have been no reports of casualties by the administration so far.

Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, saying it sought to “denazify” and “demilitarize” the country.

Moscow has since demanded that Kyiv abandon plans to join military alliances and withdraw troops from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson — regions Russia claims to have annexed in September 2022. Ukraine has rejected those terms as an ultimatum and insists on a cease-fire before negotiations.
