Students scream as frog leaps from bucket during science class
This is the dramatic moment students screamed in shock when a frog leapt out of a bucket during a science class.
Biology teacher Shazrizal Shahmy had placed the live amphibian inside the red container when it suddenly jumped out in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The startled students frantically ran away as the frog hopped across the floor, seemingly trying to find its way out of the room.
Footage shows Shazrizal, wearing a lab coat and face mask, calmly approaching the creature before gently picking it up on September 5.
He then stood still while one of the schoolgirls prepared for the experiment.
Shazrizal said: 'It is customary every year to have a practical experiment dissecting a frog for my biology students. This year my students and I were a little nervous because the frog was very large, so I was extra careful.'
Frogs are commonly used in biology classes because their anatomy is similar to humans, large enough to study easily, and provides a practical way to learn about vertebrate systems.
