Mexico: Deadly Train-Bus Crash in Central Mexico Leaves At Least Ten Dead
Atlacomulco, Mexico - September 08, 2025 A freight train slammed into a double-decker bus in the city of Atlacomulco on Monday, killing at least ten people and injuring dozens more, local officials said. The crash occurred at an industrial rail crossing that had no gates or warning signals, according to authorities. Emergency crews worked for hours to extract victims from the wreckage. Officials said an investigation had been opened into the cause of the collision and whether safety failures contributed to the deadly crash.
