A well-intentioned puppy surprise took an unexpected turn when TikTok user Tatyana introduced her daughters to their new Shih Tzu — only for excitement to spiral into a chorus of screams that startled the pup into joining in.
The video, which has gained over 451,000 views, shows Tatyana waiting outside her home with the puppy, hoping to surprise her girls after school. But the moment quickly escalates when the children spot the dog and erupt with joy — unintentionally overwhelming the tiny Shih Tzu, who lets out a startled yelp of his own.
Tatyana told Newsflare, "I got a new puppy for my girls. I tried to surprise my girls after school, and they became overexcited and scared the dog to the point he screamed with them."
