Germany: Chinese brands make waves at Europe's biggest consumer tech show

Chinese technology firms are making a high-profile push at IFA Berlin 2025, using Europe's largest consumer electronics trade fair to showcase innovations designed to transform daily life. One of the most eye-catching exhibits is a pair of earbuds that promises real-time translation in 42 languages. The gadget, priced at 349 U.S. dollars, is presented by Chinese tech firm Timekettle. Another Chinese company making a splash at this year's IFA is Rokid, which is putting the world inside a pair of smart glasses weighing only 49 grams. Using augmented reality technology, the glasses allow wearers to see text displays through the lenses. Held from September 5 to 9 in the German capital, this year's IFA has attracted around 1,900 exhibitors worldwide, according to its organizer. Shotlist: Berlin, Germany - Recent: 1.
