Jhang, Pakistan - September 09, 2025 In Jhang, near Trimmu Barrage, a protective dyke suffered a major breach due to the strong flow of the Chenab River. As a result, several villages have been submerged, hundreds of acres of crops destroyed, and many houses inundated. Ground links with many areas have been cut off, leaving locals stranded, while authorities have yet to plug the breach.
