On 16 August in Shanghai, parents teamed up to solve the problem of their baby refusing to take medicine because of its bitter taste — by staging a playful prank.
The mother pretended to give the medicine to the father and asked the baby to act as the “police,” pinching the dad’s nose to supervise. But while the baby was distracted, the mother suddenly “betrayed” the plan and poured the medicine straight into the child’s mouth.
The baby, bewildered, touched their mouth after swallowing the bitter medicine, only then realising they had been tricked.
