This is the hilarious moment a culinary student failed to flip a pancake during a cooking demonstration.

Karen Paug attempted to toss the dish for the first time, but it fell to the ground at the University of Bohol in Central Visayas, the Philippines.

Footage shows the pancake flying into the air before landing on Karen and dropping to the floor on March 11.

The girl and her classmates can be heard screaming in shock before giggling at what happened.

Visibly embarrassed by the comical mishap, she briefly walked away from her station before coming back and crouching down to pick up the fallen pancake.

Karen said: 'I was a first-year college student taking up hospitality management, and I tossed the pancake so hard that it didn't land on the pan. Well, second try's the charm.'
