US, Los Angeles: Chatsworth Fiber Optic Cable Found And Possible Thieves Caught
Los Angeles, United States - September 10, 2025 09/10/2025 03:00 am GMT-0700 CHATSWORTH, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Police detained two suspects early Wednesday morning after officers recovered a U-Haul containing an estimated $20,000 worth of fiber optic cable, according to initial reports. The truck, found in the 20700 block of Prairie Avenue, also contained cable cutters. The suspects were first located around 3 a.m. in the 9400 block of Mason Avenue. Investigators are working to confirm whether they are tied to the theft and have them identified by witnesses. The initial location of the cable theft is unknown. The incident may be linked to a similar case reported earlier this week.
