A man was captured on video throwing a chair at a Wetherspoons bouncer in a "drunken" row."

Scott, 36, witnessed the fight at 11am on Monday (Sept 8) at The Reginald Mitchell, a Wetherspoons pub in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

The video shows the customer arguing with a member of security behind the bar before being pushed out.

Moments later, the man can be seen hurling a chair at the bouncer, who caught it and threw it straight back.

Scott, from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, said: "Everyone was either watching shocked or laughing at the situation."

"I think the guy was just really drunk and somehow got behind the bar."

"The security was trying to get him out but he refused to move and got aggressive, which is when it got physical."

"Ultimately the guy got kicked out of the pub and security made sure he couldn't get back in."
