Port staff in a tugboat helped an oil tanker with mooring in a choppy sea.

Footage captured by John Iver Deles shows the small watercraft wobbling as two workers pull two massive ropes from the tanker ship Sirtaki to attach to the harbour tug at Vassiliko Port in Cyprus.

The men in helmets can be seen balancing themselves on the swaying boat while hauling the thick ropes from the ship on September 7.

Tugboats are specially designed to handle massive vessels like bulk carriers despite their small size. With powerful engines, reinforced hulls, and excellent manoeuvrability, they can guide ships in tight or shallow waters, ensuring safe navigation in and out of ports.
