Car speeds up to avoid colliding with distracted cyclist
On 31 July in Yingkou, Liaoning, an elderly man was riding his bicycle through a car park when he turned his head to spit, failing to notice the road ahead. At the same time, a car was just about to pull out of a parking space.
The man was not paying attention to what was in front of him, and at first the driver also failed to spot him. But once the driver noticed, they quickly reacted by accelerating to clear the way, successfully avoiding a potential collision.
